Board a morning flight from Mumbai to Aurangabad;

Arrival transfer in Aurangabad from the airport to the hotel; check-in at the hotel there.
Later on proceed to visit the Ajanta Caves (100 Kms / 02 Hrs per side). Ajanta Caves (Closed on Monday), nestling in an inner fold of the Sahyadri hills, 100 Kms from Aurangabad in the shape of a mammoth horseshoe, are the 30 rock-cut caves of Ajanta. The caves date back to the 02nd century B.C.
According to UNESCO, these are masterpieces of Buddhist religious art that influenced the Indian art that followed. The caves were built in two phases, the first phase starting around the 02nd century BCE, while the second phase was built around 400 CE - 650 CE, according to older accounts, or in a brief period of 460 CE - 480 CE according to later scholarship. The site is a protected monument in the care of the Archaeological Survey of India and since 1983; the Ajanta Caves have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

After breakfast proceed to visit the Ellora Caves (30 Kms / 01 Hr per side). Ellora Caves (Closed on Tuesday). This famous group of caves lay 33 Kms south of Aurangabad. There are over 100 caves at the site, all excavated from the basalt cliffs in the Charanandri Hills, 34 of which are open to public, these 34 rock cut temples representing the Buddhist, Jain & Hindu faiths Ellora caves are amongst the most important historical monuments in India. It is one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes in the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
After visiting Ellora Caves you would proceed to visit Daulatabad Fort. Daulatabad, also known as Devagiri, is a 14th century fort city in Maharashtra about 16 Kms northwest of Aurangabad. There is a belief that Devagiri was built in 1203 AD by a Dhangar or herdsman who acquired vast wealth by his good fortune. He had a brother who was a shepherd named 'Raja Ram' and in correlation with it he assumed the rank of a Raja (King).
Later on transfer to Jaipur airport to board the flight to Mumbai;
